Recorded in New York on 26 June 1959 with Marcus Belgrave, John Hunt – tp; Hank Crawford – as, bs; David Newman – ts; Teagle Fleming – d Edgar Willis – b.

Atlantic, for some unfathomable reason, used a variant mix* (without the intro fx and reducing the choo choo sounds at the end) for the 1961 compilation album.

* There were 3 mixes: the one for the single, the one for the 1961 compilation, and the stereo mix first used for The Great Hits Of Ray Charles Recorded On 8-Track Stereo (information kindly confirmed by Steve Hoffman).
