In A Little Spanish Town (With The Ray Charles Septet)

Album: Ray Charles At Newport, Atlantic 1289, October 1958.
Single (B) [edited version]: Atlantic 2239, June 1964 b/w Talkin’ ‘Bout You.

The tune is only known from two live recordings. The Newport 1958 version of course made it to the album, but also to a heavily edited single release.

The line-up in Newport was: David Newman – tenor saxophone; Hank Crawford – baritone saxophone; Marcus Belgrave, Lee Harper – trumpet; Edgar Willis – bass; Richie Goldberg – drums.
