I Can’t Stop Loving You

Album 1962 ModernSounds

Single (A): ABC 10330, April 1962, b/w Born To Lose.
Album: Modern Sounds In Country And Western Music, ABC/Paramount 410, April 1962.

The album was recorded  on  5 and 7 February 1962 at the Capitol Studios in New York City, and on 15 February at the United Recording Studios in Hollywood.

Arranged by Marty Paich.

For the little that is known about the personnel, follow the link to the album description, above.

Sid Feller cut away about 1 minute and 30 seconds out of the album version to compile the single version (read his story here).

In this interview Ray explained how he selected the song.

From c. 1970 till the end the song was part of virtually every concert with the big band (below is just a choice from what you’ll find on YouTube), Ray adding new intros once every decade.
