Joe Turner (vocals) with the “Jesse Stone Orchestra”: Ray Charles (piano), unidentified (trombone), Jerome Richardson (alto saxophone), Sam Taylor (tenor saxophone), Allen Hanlon, Mundell Lowe (guitar) Lloyd Trotman (bass), Panama Francis (drums). Jesse Stone is also credited as conductor and arranger. Produced by Ahmet Ertegun and Jerry Wexler.

In ’52 Ray had been part of Turner’s band, and in the following years they met a lot in the chitlin’ circuit. From September to November 1957 they shared the bill of The Fantabulous Rock ‘n’ Roll Show Of ’57.
Ray played the tune in a concert in Stockholm, in 1973.
